FRANZ NAUMANN
PHOTOGRAPHY
I take photos like we used to post them on Tumblr – dreamy, grainy and full of nostalgia.

I’m all about capturing the kind of moments that Tumblr and MySpace kids loved a decade ago. My photos are inspired by the raw, analog style – full of grain, dreamy vibes, and those nostalgic, colorful tones. I want to bring that feeling back to life.
My work is driven by my love for indie music and the way flash photography can make a moment feel more real. I mix in analog effects and use lighting techniques to give my digital photos a raw, almost vintage look. It’s all about keeping it authentic and personal, with a style that’s easy to recognize.
I’m Franz Naumann, a Berlin-based Music Photographer with a background in the indie music scene. Growing up on Tumblr and MySpace, those platforms shaped the way I see and capture the world. I’ve always been drawn to the DIY nature of the internet and the way it allowed people to express themselves in raw, creative ways. That’s the spirit I aim to capture in every photo I take.
I want my photos to make people look back on their favorite concert memories with the same nostalgia I feel for that era. It’s about capturing the feeling, not just the scene.
